Store Hours and Holidays
 
Are you closed any days of the year?
We are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Note: we also close early on New Year’s Eve at 4:30PM.
 
What hours are you open on statutory holidays?
We are open from 11:00-5:00 on statutory holidays. This includes Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, B.C. Day, Labour Day and Thanksgiving. On Remembrance Day we are open
from 11:05-5:00PM.
 
What are your Boxing Day hours?
We are open on Boxing Day from 9:30-5:30 unless it falls on a Sunday
(in which case the hours would be 11:00-5:00)
 
Purchasing
 
How is the fabric sold? What is your minimum cut?
Downstairs at Fabricana we sell in metres and for most fabrics our minimum cut is 10cm. For fabrics that are discount by 50% or more, the minimum cut is 30cm. Upstairs at Fabricana Home, we sell in yards and the minimum cut is ¼ yard.
 
What forms of payment do you accept?
In-store we accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit and Cash. For all online and mail order requests customers can make a secure payment from our website using PayPal. Please note you do not need a PayPal account in order to make a payment.
 
What is your return policy?
There are no returns on any cut fabrics or trims, except in the case of inherent manufacturer defects. Please inspect your fabric before cutting into it. If you notice a defect in your fabric, simply bring it back to the store with your receipt and we will be happy to exchange or return it for you so long as you have not cut into the piece.
 
Pillows, hardware, rods and packaged notions can be returned or exchanged within two weeks with a receipt but must be sealed in their original packaging. There are no returns on custom order rods or hardware.
 
All scissors, patterns, books and bra cups are final sale.
 
There are no returns on yarn but you can exchange it for another yarn within 30 days.
The yarn must be in the original packaging and in saleable condition.

Do you have a printed catalogue of your fabrics?
Our inventory is always changing. As such, having a printed catalog isn’t a practical option. We always try to post New Arrivals on our website (link is in the Product Dropdown menu) but if you are looking for something specific don’t hesitate to contact us.
 
Do you have fabric swatches available?
Live too far away to pop into our store? Contact us to have some swatches sent to you by standard letter mail, up to a maximum of 12 free swatches. After 12 swatches, there is a minimal fee. Please contact us for more details.
 
Where does your fabric come from?
We source fabrics from all around the world, through a variety of wholesalers. If the information is available to us, we will list it on information sticker located on the bolt of fabric.
 
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, we do! To purchase a gift card simply visit us in store, give us a call or contact us by email. Our gift cards have no fees and never expire!
 
Mail Order
 
How can I request a mail order?
You can give us a call at either of our stores- Coquitlam: (604)524-5454; or Richmond (604) 273-5316 or contact us via email. We can send you pictures and/or send you up to a maximum of 12 free swatches. After 12 swatches, there is a minimal fee. Please contact us for more details.
 
How long will my order take to arrive?
Once payment is received, orders are processed for shipping within 1 business day. We ship most of our orders via UPS with most orders taking 3-5 business days within Canada. If you need your order sooner, please contact us about overnight shipping or 2-day shipping options.
